The Work
I never expected working this soon. My last term in college ended April, luckily I got the chance to chill, travel and enjoy summer until May. The timing was perfect. Just when I’m so bored with my daily routine of sleeping, eating, going to greenbelt over and over again, I got a text message. It was an offer to work for a TV company. I immediately said yes and went to the office the next day. I started working the day after that.
After a week of working, I was assigned to assist in a re-shoot out of town. Wow! My first field job!

The place is breathtakingly beautiful! The place is perfected by the streams, the rivers, the mountains! Plus the very courteous people there.

After that, I assisted on editing the pilot episode. I literally spent days and days inside the office and editing bay. It started out with a simple overnight stay and it upgraded to a longer stay in the office. The longest was 4 straight days of editing, in front of those gigantic mac computers. There was a time when problems have been continuously flowing through our system that we decided to transfer everything and use Final Cut. There were times I’d do the editing myself. It was exciting at first, but tiring through the end. I actually edited the final version of the Pilot episode presented to the Executive Board. It was scary.

One of those nights when we just needed pizzas to wake us up at 3 or 4 in the morning.

The awesome, award-winning Sir Doy Ongleo doing his magic for our pilot episode. What an amazing musical scorer!!!

Too awesome for a first job!! :)
