2/13: Profile Segment: David Guison & Vince Javier
Second video project we did for our Segment class is a profile segment. We’ve featured two of the most celebrated online personalities, David Gusion and Vince Javier. This activity has been a great opportunity for us to get to know these really cool people and actually learn more about them that online followers wouldn’t know.
First Feature: DGMNL (http://davidguison.tumblr.com)...

Cheesefest: 5 years of friendship
On my second year of highschool, I’ve met the coolest, the most awesome and the best people of the world. I had a bunch of friends back then. But as the years have passed, I’ve seen how my friends have grown apart, until our barkada just…vanished on thin air. I really couldn’t explain what has happened to us, but I always have a short and simple explanation for it: Maybe...

Random Luck
While at school last week, Mom called up to say Banco de Oro sent a letter addressed to me. I thought maybe it was just about my credit card, maybe i was overspending and shit. But it was rather euphoric! The letter says I won a Canon 1000d DSLR. I didn’t even know there’s such raffle. Haha! So there, I got the cam from SM Bicutan branch and poof!!! I have a new DSLR! Random luck,...

Common misconception: Tagalog=Language and Filipino=Nationality
Our national language is “FILIPINO”, just the same name given to the citizens of the Philippines. Tagalog is just a dialect, originated from Luzon, as that of Bisaya for the Visayans.
Filipino is already a modernized language with mixtures of commonly used words from different dialects, but mostly...

The Cemetery Adventure
Had another adventure courtesy of Alison’s (bearbong) assignment for his photog class. We had sort of a ‘photowalk’ at the American Cemetery at Fort. The cemetery was hilariously clean and neat. The alignment of the crosses are perfectly done. The trees are in a movie-like shape. The grass looks fake. Haha! And it’s really peaceful there.

Sleepless Weekend

Spent the last few days of my one week vacation working! Well I would’t call it work ‘cause I was having fun haha went to the Bob Sinclar party last Saturday, then slept for a few hours then went to church. Already missed it last Sunday ‘cause I was in Tagaytay so I forced myself to go. Then had lunch at Amici (yay it’s not self-service anymore). Went home to prepare my clothes for...

Swirls and Curves
Finished a fourth of my doodle wall. Well, not really a doodle, since they’re just swirls and curves and lines.
This is a good sign for me, I’m finally being productive the past few days :)

Last Saturday was another adventure day for us! We were asked to produce, individually, a music video as the first project for TV Segment class. I did John Mayer’s Waiting on The World to Change. And here are some of behind-the-scenes photos and side-trip vanity.
We brought the red couch all the way to Binondo. A shiny red couch before the beautiful old building was awesome!
Then we...
